I had a very comfortable and cozy stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving me great advice on attractions to visit. The location was fantastic, situated close to a lively area but tucked away on a quiet street. The included breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from.
All in all, everything was more than satisfactory.

very good breakfast, nice and helpful staff, perfect location (quiet side lane but only a few hundret meters to the town centre)
the room was very small, for one person just to sleep alright, but in other cities you get easy a 4-star-room for this price. really expensive!

Spending Christmas in the city was a fantastic idea. The Christmas atmosphere and lights made the city magical. The hotel location was perfect, with all the main attractions within walking distance and some lovely restaurants just around the corner. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. I especially enjoyed the amazing breakfast, which had a variety of delicious options and was included in the price. The staff were friendly and always willing to help with any queries.
The room was a little noisy at night, probably due to the holiday rush, and this disturbed my sleep. , the bathroom was a bit outdated and could use some remodeling.

Tiny room but sufficient for one person on a short visit. Breakfast room overlooking the garden was very good, especially the view of two untethered parrots feeding outside - in Amstedam!

Great breakfast and comfortable beds. Conveniently located near public transportation and close to popular attractions. the staff was helpful and provided useful information about local sights.
Overpriced for the small room with a view to a busy road. the elevator was too small for more than two people and the shower had poor water pressure.

Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and plentiful, loved the pet cat and the little garden where parrots came to feed.
Towels weren't changed daily. Tea and coffee facilities in room would be nice, didn't like soap dispensers.

Hestia was very convenient for transport, not far to enjoy walking into central Amsterdam. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable. Good price for 5 night stay in high season.
I was on the fourth floor and the lift was tiny and slow-no good for more than 3 people and no good for me - I suffer from mild claustrophobia. No tea making facilities-greatly missed over a five day stay. The cleaning was very basic, if at all. No hand towels. Walls paper thin so no sleep if snoring, talking or tv on next door. Breakfast very basic and limited, each day identical. Cat living in breakfast room, sleeping on lounges and leaving hair.

The hotel is conveniently located near museums and a park, perfect for families with children. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing stay. the buffet breakfast offers a good variety of options to start the day. One reviewer even mentioned a balcony overlooking the park, providing a pleasant view.
There is a small road passing through the front of the hotel, which may cause some noise disturbance.

It was centrally located
The "family" room was very small for four people. The bathroom was not well planned because the seat was for only small children. The staircase was very steep and narrow. The lift was small and very slow. Parking was ón public street and very expensive.

Location well situated in museum district. Breakfast included and well done. Charming, friendly staff, and backyard patio.
Water pressure/temperature in shower was difficult to regulate. Our room was considered medium size, but was quite small. Definitely need to improve on cleanliness. There were traces of hair on pillow covers and sheets. Carpets were very dirty.

The hotel is in an excellent location. None required to take driving, but if desired one is found in abundance. There are trade and restaurants for all tastes.
My room, though very comfortable, was extremely small. The shift between my wife and I was a little tricky. I can not say that the other rooms are so small, but the top floor are. The internet was paid and very expensive.
